Question 1

How does the private AI summarizer work?

Accepted Answer

A DistilBART summarization model runs via Transformers.js in your browser. Your article or document is tokenized and condensed locally — nothing is uploaded to a summary API.

Question 2

What length options can I choose?

Accepted Answer

Short (tight TL;DR-style), Medium (balanced coverage), and Detailed (more sentences retained). You can also pick bullet points, paragraph, executive, or TL;DR formats.

Question 3

Is my document stored anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Text lives only in browser RAM for the active session. Closing the tab discards it. Model weights may remain in IndexedDB for offline reuse, but never your content.

Question 4

Can I summarize research papers and meeting notes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste any long-form text — papers, transcripts, blog posts — and generate a private summary without third-party cloud exposure.
